It cools my room down pretty nicely and my room is pretty big. Only downside is that it cools it down... but I was hoping more for something that could make my room cold.

Bought this awhile ago , maybe amonth or two, its been working well! it definitly cools the imidiaate 10 ft radius around it but definitly strugles with the rest of the room, but is no problem since i spend my time quite near it anyway. I would say its louder then some portable AC Units ive seen, i dont mind the white noise however. The instalation was quite easy, used a handsaw to measure down the window panel. Would recomend for price to useibility tbh.

I bought this last summer and it was working great! Then suddenly it started saying Full Tank even when it wasnt and we did everything we could to ensure there was no moisture that could be triggering a sensor. 6 months later still the same issue. The worst part is that Ive been trying to get it serviced used the warranty but I cant get ahold of anyone. The customer service team at Black and Decker refers you to someone else whos line doesnt even work, and the support email never responds. I got only a few months use out of this product before it stopped working. Very unfortunate experience.

Bought this June 10, 2019, installed June 20, 2019. So far, it is still working, May 25, 2020. However the remote is dead. I put new batteries in it. I had taken the batteries out over the winter. I couldn't find any info in the booklet or on this website telling me where I can find a replacement remote. I have to say, we used to be big fans of B and D, but in the last year or two, the quality of the products overall has plummeted. We primarily use this for cooling. Installation is easy, however the duct will not stay in the window panel. I have to prop it up with a small bottle to keep it attached. Also, it is extremely noisy. I can't believe the noise it makes. My grandchildren stayed for a few days and were completely unable to sleep in the same room with it. I have no idea why it can't be quieter.
