Works very well! Has made a noticeable different in my basement.

In my basement, there's always been a lingering mildewy smell despite no water coming in. It tends to be quite damp down there. But after using this unit non-stop for two days, the odor disappeared completely. The only downside is that I wish I had gotten one with a bigger reservoir, as I can't drain it directly at the moment. Nonetheless, it works very well - I just have to empty it twice a day - and I'm really satisfied with how it's performing.

Positive: I gotta say, this gadget works wonders! It's running smoothly and it's able to eliminate the musty smell in my underground area with cement flooring. Negative: However, I'm having a bit of trouble with the controls. Despite reading the instructions, I still can't seem to grasp it, so I end up randomly pressing buttons until it works. Additionally, the drainage tube had been folded instead of rolled, so now there are kinks in the tube. I feel like this could have been easily prevented and fixed.

Water reservoir difficult to replace

This thing works great at keeping the humidity level low, but I struggle with replacing the reservoir after dumping out the water. It's a hassle every time, and I wish it were easier. It would be ideal to have a drain tube attached to avoid this issue, but unfortunately, I can't do that since it's on the main level of my house. Overall, it's a good unit, but the reservoir replacement is a pain.

Tiny tank to collect water

I have to say, this contraption really does the job, but I've noticed that the reservoir tends to reach its capacity within a couple of hours most of the time. My basement is actually smaller than the recommended size for this device, yet every morning I wake up to a humidity level of 80% because I'm unsure whether running it continuously in my utility sink will harm the motor. Another disappointment was the lack of a built-in pump, which I had assumed this model had. While it's definitely putting in effort, the tank size just isn't sufficient unless you're working from home. Naturally, there's no useful information to be found online.

It dehumidifies

As a Florida resident, I frequently encounter high humidity levels. While this product does work, unfortunately, the manual's instructions for controlling it are not accurate. The manual claims that you can program it to turn on when the humidity reaches a certain level and then turn off once it drops back down, but I have attempted this numerous times without success. The only options that seem to work are "on" and "off". Although it is possible to set it to run for a specific timeframe, this feature does not serve my needs.
