I bought a Black & Decker dehumidifier that gave me immediate results in dehumidifying my basement. Within one day, my basement went from 70% humidity to 50%. I was also happy with the hose connection, which was similar to my outside yard water spigot, meaning no leaks or disconnection from the hose connection.

I bought my dehumidifier for use in my approximately 2,000 square foot basement. It very quickly brought the humidity down to the desired level. I don't know yet how energy-efficient it is, but it is Energy Star compliant, so I expect it to be. The price was very reasonable for the unit.

I love my dehumidifier. In a matter of hours, the pull-out water chamber is full, especially if it's on high speed. I have no problems with it. Most of my yard tools are this brand, and they have not let me down.

I recently purchased a dehumidifier and noticed a drop in humidity within the first day of use. It drains to the floor in my basement and helps control humidity in my 1500 sq ft ranch style home with a 1500 sq ft basement. It's relatively quiet like a fan on low mode and has adjustable humidity options.
